FERRULE SANDING MACHINE
This is a sanding machine used for finishing the club's ferrule.
It is built with a basic structure consisting of a support plate installed
on the essential functions of a sanding machine.
The sanding belt uses a fabric abrasive belt designed to sand only the resin-made ferrule
without affecting the painted parts.
This allows sanding work on woods and hybrids as well as irons
without requiring separate protective procedures.
Additionally, the rotating shaft on the left is equipped with a grinding stone,
enabling concurrent operations such as tip sanding or sole grinding.
Ferrule sanding machines generate a lot of static electricity during use
due to the characteristics of sanding belts.
FITTERSLAB ferrule sanding machine is equipped with an insulation coating on the support plate
to prevent static electricity as much as possible,
but it is recommended to connect a ground wire to the main body to bleed off static electricity.
While the insulating film on the support plate helps block static electricity,
it does not prevent scratches on the shaft.
Wrap several layers of cotton gloves or compression bandages around the plate
to protect it during use, the rotation will be smoother and
the static electricity blocking effect will be enhanced.
AUTO-ALIGNING FERRULE SETTER
This is a ferrule setter developed by FITTERSLAB,
featuring an automatic aligning function applied for the first time in the industry.
Conventional ferrule setters required finding the center by intuition,
which had the drawback of causing the ferrule to distort or mount crookedly if struck incorrectly.
This product was devised to compensate for these shortcomings.
Equipped with a high-strength heat-treated center sleeve,
it features a structure where the ferrule is automatically centered during installation,
allowing the ferrule to be set with its center aligned naturally
without having to meticulously adjust the center.
Additionally, the center sleeve prevents eccentric phenomena and guides the ferrule to be set vertically,
enabling clean installation without tilting.
This product is manufactured with a standard depth of 29mm,
which is the standard ferrule setting depth for club making,
and can also be custom-manufactured to a desired depth upon request.
